Logo design for Quarter Note Music

Vote on a new logo for Quarter Note Music and Instruction in Apex, North CarolinaStudio RTP is working with Quarter Note Music and Instruction in Apex, North Carolina to design their new company logo. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to develop many logos that can be printed at any size while still offering an effective and distinctive brand recognition for a variety of companies in a variety of industries. Though logos are small and appear to be simple, often they can be one of the most time consuming projects for any designer. A good designer will recognize that a logo takes creativity, will be used to represent a company for many years to come, and, most importantly, must meet the needs of the client.

The three comps shown here are the initial phase of our brand development for Quarter Note Music and Instruction. We're always looking for feedback, both positive and negative, on the designs that we create to ensure we provide the highest quality and most recognizable logo for our clients. If you have any feedback that you would like to provide, please comment below!

The logo on the far left plays off of the shape of a saxophone and works well when replicated large and small. The hope with this logo is to click in the viewers mind and trigger brand recognition along with relevance to the company's services and products. In addition, the letter "Q" can be used in the future as a "stand-alone" logo for certain applications.

The logo in the center plays off of the shape of a quarter note and incorporates another potential figure that can be used as a stand-alone element in future marketing efforts. Using a character to bring a bit of fun and animation to the brand will offer many different marketing strategies going forward.

The logo on the right brings more attention to the saxophone shape and adds the element of the quarter note within the fonts used to spell "Quarter Note". Again, this offers the potential to use the saxophone as a stand-alone element in future marketing pieces.

So, what do you think? Do you have a vote? Comments, suggestions, feedback? Please leave a response below!
